Press Kit

The Michigan League of Conservation Voters (501c4) was founded in 1999 to help provide a political voice for the environmental movement in Michigan.

Michigan LCV is a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to passing strong environmental laws, electing environmental champions, and holding lawmakers accountable for their actions.
Michigan LCV is best known for our Environmental Scorecard, which we release every two years to inform the public and the media of legislators’ votes for or against the environment.
In 2011, we added How Green Is Your Governor? to track Michigan's Executive branch, and in 2012, we added Green Gavels to track Michigan's Judicial branch. Please visit our Track How Elected Officials Vote page for more on our accountability suite.
In addition, please visit the Michigan League of Conservation Voters Education Fund Web site and click on Our Work to view all of our other publications.
