Jack Schmitt

Deputy Director

Jack is Deputy Director of Michigan LCV/LCVEF. He brings three campaign cycles worth of experience managing both State House and State Senate campaigns to Michigan LCV/LCVEF, as well as direct experience working in the state legislature, ranging from member-staff for legislative leadership to working as a Senior Communications Advisor with the Michigan Senate Democrats. Jack attended Michigan State University’s James Madison College. He joined Michigan LCV/LCVEF in 2012 as the Deputy Political Director designing and executing the General Election campaign plan for the organization, helping successfully elect a bi-partisan slate of conservation champions to the State House. Jack lives in Lansing, Michigan, where he sits on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Environmental Council and serves as a “Big Brother” for the Capital Region Big Brothers, Big Sisters.
